Invocation of Jyotishvara
For Non-Attachment and Impermanence
O Master Within,
Teach me the noble art of letting go;
Of setting things free, whether they come to and fro.
Like a flower that has been appreciate for countless years,
It too, must wither and fade.
That it may give rise to things new,
So that in this newness the Cosmic might express itself;
In freshness and in newness.
In truth, there is nothing fresh, nor things that wither.
All things arise from their origin, and set themselves back unto it;
Like the Sun that rises at day and sets at twilight.
When a visitor knocks at your door, expect him to leave;
This too, is true, in Reality.
All phenomena are but visitors,
They, come, go;
Yet they do not make their stay,
For Causation has no eternal fixation.
